Exploring different CPD opportunities
Identify and discuss with a more experienced colleague, the different CPD opportunities available to develop your knowledge and skills in dyslexia/SpLD.
Speak to the person who is in charge of CPD in your setting, to find out about any suitable external CPD opportunities available, which would enable you to develop your knowledge and skills in dyslexia/SpLD.
Alternatively make this person or your head of department aware of any known gaps in your knowledge and suggest some departmental/whole setting training in this subject area.
