How to teach Maths to Students with Dyscalculia/Maths Disorder Series

This series of Lectures by the international expert on Dyscalculia and Maths Learning Difficulty - Steve Chinn, will enable both teachers and assessors to improve their knowledge of teaching maths. Themes running through the course will be ‘effective communication’ and comments on the recent Ofsted Research report on teaching maths. This is lecture one of four.

The teaching of Maths especially to learners with difficulties with maths requires an effective understanding of both the learner’s individual barriers to maths and the most effective way of teaching mathematics, in overcoming these barriers. The series of lectures is conducted by the international expert on mathematics disorders, Professor Steve Chinn
