Diagnostic Assessment at Secondary Level: Best Practice in Testing and Reporting: SASC Authorised

This course is designed for assessors in SpLD to gain or refresh their knowledge in the assessment of students at KS 3/4, including pertinent factors related to this age range and how to write accessible, informative reports. The analysis of data and learner profiles to form confident conclusions is discussed in actual cases. This day has been designed for specialist teachers/assessors in SpLD working with secondary age students who wish to gain or refresh their skills in the assessment of learners at Key stages 3 &4. It will focus on the production of a well written diagnostic assessment report which takes account of both the quantitative and qualitative information gathered to enable schools to understand the needs of the students.
