All the interventions featured here are: targeted directly on literacy; readily available and have been quantitatively evaluated in the UK.
This site aims to provide clear information on Interventions for Literacy or resources, to inform practice and choice for both parents and schools. Those choices should be guided by the range of resources and by matching the needs of the school, class or child.
This site is maintained by the Dyslexia-SpLD Trust, known as ‘The Trust’. The Trust is a collaboration of voluntary and community organisations with funding from the Department for Education to provide reliable information to parents, teachers, schools and the wider sector. It acts as an important communication channel between government, leading dyslexia organisations, parents, schools, colleges, teachers and the sector.
Partner organisations are The British Dyslexia Association, Dyslexia Action, Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, PATOSS, Springboard for Children, Xtraordinary People.
