Ask a more experienced member of staff to work collaboratively

Ask a more experienced member of staff in the field of dyslexia/SpLD for opportunities to work more collaboratively and share examples of practice.

Perhaps you might like to start with some of the following;-
1) Together plan a lesson in which you team teach your learners. Allow time for discussion afterwards. Try some Action Research in future lessons (see The Framework User’s Guide (3. A note on Action Research), based upon the examples of good practice from this lesson.
2) Observe his/her practice, taking note of the most positive attributes and incorporating them into your future lessons. Allow time for discussion afterwards. Try some Action Research (as above).
