Assistive Technology in Higher Education and the Workplace (Part 1) and AI: Unfair Advantage or Levelling the Playing Field (Part 2)
These sessions, presented by Chris Collier and available as a two-part series or standalone, will provide an overview of assistive technology from free, built-in tools to premium products and then explore a definition of AI and its role in supporting neurodivergent people.
Chris is an Assistive Technology (AT) consultant, workplace coach and director of the Learning Support Academy. With a background in DSA and workplace needs assessing, he has wide-ranging experience of implementing AT effectively in education and the workplace.
Attendees will explore the range of assistive technology categories available in education and the workplace and increase knowledge of specific tools from free built-in features to premium software/ hardware.
