Writing Skills for Reluctant Writers - Secondary

Writing today is not a frill for the few, but an essential skill for us all. This course will help you motivate your students to begin to write and organise their thoughts. This presentation provides solutions for students who can “talk” a subject effectively but who struggle to get their ideas down on paper at the same level of competence.

Written language is considered by many to be the most challenging skill to teach and to learn. However, there are many oral and written activities that teachers can use concurrently with teaching of reading and spelling which will encourage the student to begin writing.
