Writing Skills for Reluctant Writers - Primary

Writing today is not a frill for the few, but an essential skill for us all. This course will help you motivate your students to begin to write and organise their thoughts. This course provides solutions for those students who talk a great narrative but who struggle to write it down.

Written language is considered by many to be the most challenging skill to teach and to learn. However, there are many oral and written activities that teachers can use concurrently with teaching of reading and spelling which will encourage the student to begin writing
This interactive workshop focusses on strategies to support reluctant writers to get their ideas down on paper through fiction and non-fiction.
