Understanding Mental Health Difficulties as experienced by SpLD Children OnDemand Webinar Learning about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

One in ten school children have mental health issues. Educators need to both understand and provide support to help their learners. Participants will learn both to recognise a mental health difficulty and how to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles to help their learners manage or reduce barriers to learning.
This webinar is in response to the increasing numbers of children with SpLD difficulties who are struggling with the pressure of curriculum demands within our education system. The pandemic and social media have increased the mental health issues impacting on young people today. Educators need to understand how mental health difficulties present, what we can do as educators to help our students.
