Learner Characteristics: Topics which Create the Most Difficulties

This is one of a series of lectures by the international expert on Dyscalculia and Maths Learning Difficulties, Steve Chinn, will enable both teachers and assessors to improve their knowledge of teaching maths. Themes running through the course will be ‘effective communication’ and the use of carefully selected visual images.

Introduction
This session will focus on the learner and the key identifiers of current and future maths difficulties. It will look at the topics which create the most difficulties and at learner characteristics, including their cognitive style.
