JCQ Access Arrangements and the Role of the SENDCo

Designed to meet the needs of SENDCos involved in the access arrangement process, this course is delivered by an experienced practitioner, who will share his recommendations for best practice. Suitable for SENDCos and others involved in managing the access arrangements process in secondary settings.

Drawing on his considerable experience as a SENDCo within a secondary school, Gareth examines the processes underlying applying for access arrangements, including roles and responsibilities, managing assessments and processing applications, essential record keeping systems, staff training and communications. The session addresses best practice, encouraging you to reflect on practice within your own centre.
