Renewing Your Assessment Practising Certificate On-line: SASC Authorised

A diagnostic report not only helps the ‘learner’ to understand their ‘strengths and weaknesses’, it also enables the school to understand the needs of the student, so that the most effective teaching approaches and interventions can be used. This course is designed for specialist teacher assessors conducting diagnostic assessments across the age range who want to renew (or apply for) an Assessment Practising Certificate. It will consider best practice in report writing in accordance with the SASC Guidelines [1] and will cover the compilation and analysis of statistical data along with qualitative analysis of performance and how these can be presented in an accessible manner to support a reliable diagnostic decision.
