This video was designed to help Reception and Year 1 teachers interpret children's reading responses to score the Phonics Screening Check. It has other uses too.
Accessible Case Studies from an NUT project, following teachers trialling Thinking Skills in the classroom. These can be used to develop multisensory strategies for action research in individual classrooms.
Arrange some departmental/whole setting INSET. Ask your link Educational Psychologist to give an overview of the tests which might be used in your type of setting, with particular reference to dyslexia/SpLD.
Develop links with a literacy specialist in your setting to discuss possible opportunities to work with learners with dyslexia/SpLD.
