Developing basic understanding of psychometric testing

Arrange some departmental/whole setting INSET. Ask your link Educational Psychologist to give an overview of the tests which might be used in your type of setting, with particular reference to dyslexia/SpLD.

 Prepare a list of questions you would like the Educational Psychologist to answer.  You may like to use the following as prompts.

WRIT (Wide Range Intelligence Test)

WRAT (Wide Range Achievement Test)

WISC (Wechsler Intelligence Test for Children)

BAS (British Ability Scales)
