Diagnosing, Assessment and Supporting Dyspraxia in Post-16 Education

Designed for specialist teachers/assessors already conducting diagnostic assessment for post 16 students and who wish to extend their skills in the identification of Dyspraxia-DCD. The course:
explores terminology, working definitions as a basis for the identification of dyspraxia; considers how diagnostic interviews and check-lists form the foundation for confident conclusions and effective intervention plans; reviews the contribution of frequently used SpLD standard tests and the need to include other tests which may support the diagnosis.
